We are in training to be certified as a K9 Dog handler for trailing. This will be added to our current experience in lost pet recovery. Stay tuned for updates. Our K9 is Marsha a rescue dog we trapped at my old elementary school after being bred and dumped.
We take on the most difficult missions rescuing animals in URGENT NEED.
As we get space and according to our schedules we take on cases where animals are suffering and no one else can help them. We stay in shape to be fit for those intense missions. We've had 9 freeway missions, rescued wildlife, climbed down a cliff to a river to save a puppy who was eating her deceased mom tied up, crawled under a house to save a feral dog that was eating rocks, traveled miles on foot to save a dog with an embedded harness almost a year, and more. We never give up. We study each animals behavior and evaluate the situation and adjust our approach. We trap, track, trail, set up cameras, do stakeouts and more. Most animals we save are from issues of neglect and abuse so they need lots of rehabilitation. My husband and I work with each of them. They are with us longer because of this. Our biggest expenses are dog food and vet bills. Thank you for helping us with each of our miracles.
